Indian Hills is a community in Carson City just south of downtown bordering Johnson Lane and the ranch course at Genoa Lakes. Known for its outdoor recreation, Indian Hills is part of the Carson City Metro area and home to about 5600 residents. It makes up quite a bit of land along Highway 395 and towards the north has most of the amenities and services such as Walmart, the Home Depot, Target, World Market, Best Buy, and other services. It's home to several golf courses such as the Sunridge Golf Course and trails along Clear Creek. It's also home to the Jacks Valley Wildlife area.

Not to be confused with Indian Hills West, a smaller community in downtown Carson City. Indian Hills takes up a larger area south of downtown Carson City. It stretches from Highway 50 along 395 all the way south to Carson River and Stephanie Way.

Residents that live in Indian Hills have more opportunity to own land and acreage. So if you're looking to be close to Carson City but would like a little more breathing room, Indian Hills might be ideal.
